Stupid Is

Rob, The Crap American, has informed me that his favorite word is ‘stupid’. I had noticed on one particular day that he was using the word stupid to describe everything. “The weather in this shit hole is stupid.” “It is stupid to have a Christmas tree.” ”I don’t understand laugh tracks used in sitcoms, they are stupid.” This prompted me to ask him why he uses the word stupid to describe everything when there are a plethora of words he could pick from. He said it is because the word is universal and covers all levels of things people find…well stupid. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being things that are really stupid and 1 being things that are still stupid but bearable; the word stupid is used for all sorts of things and situations and there appears to be no real difference between anything people think is stupid. It is all just stupid. So naturally I told him that not only is his theory stupid but also he was stupid, pretty much proving his point.
