The Countdown Has Begun

I have roughly 10 weeks left in Crappalvania and I have been trying to work out whether or not I will miss it. My dislike of the Crappalvania townspeople is well documented but I really do love the area. It is a beautiful and peaceful spot although I still think North is not where it should be here and West…. well I won’t even get into that.
I don’t want people to misunderstand me and think that I am not grateful for every single day I am here, because I am. I may find a load of humor in my situation and I may sound cynical but I assure you it’s all in the name of my craft.

New Zealand is my second home and the opportunities I have been given to live and work in this stunning country have always been appreciated. Being in New Zealand, for me, has been like playing in God’s backyard. I broke a few swing sets and peed in the sandbox a few times but all in all it has been the best time of my life. I look forward to going home to Canada and being with my family but at the same time I am already thinking about the time when I can return to New Zealand and to those who have become my family. (and not because exposure to my family in Canada makes me psychotic)
