The Golden Sound Of Silence

A handful of weeks ago she informed me of their plans to move into a suite on the top floor and I have been patiently waiting for them to go. I honestly thought this day would never come but last Monday the noises crashing through my ceiling told me otherwise. I have complete silence at night while trying to sleep and it has never sounded so sweet. Of course, I don’t really sleep a great deal BUT if I want to lie in bed and read a book I no longer have to wear ear plugs. Ding Dong the Bitch and The Walrus are gone!
Yesterday I was getting into my car in the underground lot at my complex and saw something disturbing. When your every day view of the world changes, you are emotionally affected, so when I noticed the noisy bitch’s car parked across from mine I screamed. Why can’t I live a life without this woman? I finally get rid of her above me but now she is parked directly across from me so I’ll be seeing more of her. God hates me. I cannot think of any other explanation for this ridiculous turn of events.
