You Go Big Girl! You Go!

Personally, I don’t care if Whitney Houston ever makes a comeback. Even though I’ve never been a fan of her music, I’d never deny her talent and give her credit for what she has achieved in her career. But if she intends on making a comeback she had better make damn sure she can top this vocal performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3lTXB4t2so ,because Jennifer Hudson has just raised the bar to somewhere beyond the Moon.

I haven’t seen Dreamgirls and may or may not see it in the theatres, but after hearing all the buzz about Jennifer Hudson’s offerings in the movie, I had to check out her version of the song ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ for myself. Well holy crap! Her voice comes through the speakers and LITERALLY grabs you in the chest and doesn’t let go until about seven seconds after it’s finished. Her voice is so powerful – it even gives me a slight headache after I’ve listened to the song five times in a row.

Lindsay, Britney, Paris and all you other wannabe actress / singers take note – your ass has just been kicked by a quality big girl! If you don’t have the talent, please, sit the fuck down and shut the hell up.
